Choosing the right ring size helps the product fit well, is comfortable to wear and ensures aesthetics during use. If you don’t have the opportunity to visit a showroom, you can refer to the simple ways to measure ring size below.
METHOD 1: MEASURE THE DIAMETER OF THE RING YOU ARE WEARING
If you already have a ring that fits the finger you want to wear, this is the quickest and most accurate method.
Implementation steps
Step 1: Prepare a ring that fits your hand.
Step 2: Place the ring on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the ring’s inner diameter (excluding the ring body).
Step 3: Compare measurements with TALINA’s ring size conversion table.
Note: Diameter is measured from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge of the ring.
METHOD 2: MEASURE RING SIZE WITH PAPER
If you don’t have a ring ready for reference, you can use a piece of paper or a small string.
Implementation steps
Step 1: Cut a thin strip of paper.
Step 2: Wrap around the finger where the ring is intended to be placed.
Step 3: Mark the intersection of the paper strips.
Step 4: Measure the length of the piece of paper you just marked.
Step 5: Take the measured length and divide it by 3.14 to calculate the inner diameter of the ring.
Recipe:
Ring diameter = Finger circumference ÷ 3.14
Then compare the results with TALINA’s ring size chart to determine the appropriate size.

NOTES WHEN MEASUREMENT OF RING SIZE
- Measure later in the day: Finger size is often more stable in the afternoon or evening, making results more accurate.
- Avoid measuring when hands are too cold or too hot: Temperature can cause fingers to shrink or expand, leading to size errors.
- Do not wrap the paper too tightly: The paper strip should fit your finger to ensure comfortable wearing during actual use.
- For large rings: Designs with wide rings often create a more huggable feeling. In some cases, a slight increase in size may be considered for more comfortable wearing.
- Measure the entire finger joint: If the joint is larger than the finger body, measure both positions and choose the appropriate size so that the ring is easy to put on but still sturdy when used.\
